Trust, but verify……..

No one in this world can you trust.

Not men, not women, not beasts…only steel…

God, and my Wife.

I'm pretty much there. I trust my dogs much more than humans though.

Only this one. Period.

Yep.

The only person I fully trust is myself. Everybody else, including my wife, are always somewhat sketchy. In the end the only person that will truly put your best interest at the forefront is yourself.

My wife will come in and start telling me some off the wall schidt... and the first thing I ask her is "Where did you hear that?"

Shortly followed by "I don't want to hear it.."

She tends to get rather upset when I tell her I don't want to talk about what she's been seeing on Fox News all day. Oh well. Maybe she'll eventually learn that I really don't want to watch it, and really don't want to hear it.

It is written on the back of the humble penny.

I was just going to type that.

The problem with our country is too many people believe what they are spoon fed. I remember back in Obama’s last few months I was watching Stewart Varney and he bashed one of the monthly jobs report as our new “terrible” normal when 230-240k jobs were added. 8 or 9 months later he lauded Trump and the 180k jobs created in one month. I thought to myself WTF, what a hypocrite. When you listen to both sides with an open mind, it’s becomes very clear who the liars and hypocrites are.

My wife.
She is second because she doesn't tell me things.
Not often, but to protect the kids.
And to protect me and others a few times.
It was a couple years after a boss quit and moved that she told me how he treated her.








My kids.
They are young yet.


















Other family.
You gotta know in what ways they can be trusted.











No one else.
In anyway that really matters.




I'd rather randomly put myself at the mercy of randomly chosen panel of strangers in a local bar than trust our "Leaders" to look out for me.

"Trust your neighbors...........
but brand your cattle!"

I don't trust anyone not even myself. I do trust if I have a decision to make it will be the wrong one

I don't trust that I always make the right decisions that would be personally financially beneficial, but I do trust that such choices are made more about what's right and wrong.

Too many people choose what helps their own pocketbook without considering the consequences.

Our state House race here in my district has a very hotly contested race for Representative. One guy is a very well spoken guy, but he's already been shown to bend to the middle when he has to.

The other guy is a hardcore conservative with no bend to him.

I'm voting for the hardcore conservative. The other may be better for business, etc., but I'll go with who has my core beliefs as first priority.

Near the bottom of my list are bible thumpers. No different than a used car salesmen.

If the product was that great, you wouldn't need to be trying so hard to sell it.

Good fences make good neighbors.

I trust God. I trust my wife also, but my (our?) trust in God is different.
