I've been looking over my 5.56 inventory and have close to 1k on hand, with the components to build another, should I find the time to sit down at the bench. But without a progressive press, I'd rather purchase loaded ammo. So, I'm looking at making a purchase (and, yeah, I know prices are astronomically high right now) and having been looking at ammoseek. Most of the big names are running at around 50 cents a round (and higher), before shipping. I've never used any of those sites with the lowest prices, preferring to buy through well known suppliers in the past. Any recommendations? Some of those with the lowest prices could save a person up to $100 for a 1k purchase.
Thanks!

SG Ammo would be a good place to start. But there are others.

Go to ammoseek.com and start there.

I use ammo seek. Read the reviews on the sellers right where you are looking at prices. If you are still concerned plug the seller into Google and search if they are legitimate. Usually it's pretty easy to see if BBB rates them or.if there are horror stories out there. I've bought from many sellers on ammoseek that I did this exercise with and haven't been scammed yet. Good luck on the purchase!

Thanks! Keep in mind some of those with the lowest prices charge a hefty shipping fee. Been there.

Might find a deal there. https://www.recoilgunworks.com/ammo/Also good idea to check Bereli, a local distributor to me. But, they don't have customer pick up for locals yet. https://www.bereli.comHere's a good deal (free shipping) on 9mm 147 gr FMJ flat nose. https://www.bereli.com/shooting/ammunition/federal-american-eagle-9mm-147-grain-full-metal-jacket/
