W. Jenkens swamped .314" caliber 1-66 twist $275

Unmarked 35" long 45 cal 13/16" Oct barrel. $130

Colorain "A" weight 40 cal 38" $250

Colorain "C" weight 50 cal 38" $250

Colorain "C: weight 54 cal 38" $250

Rice C weight 54 cal 38" long, with F sight dovetail and all 3 underlug dovetails cut $250

E Rayl 54 cal 37" Marshall contour with no breach plug $245. I can install a plug if you'd like for $20 extra

I have a set of double rifle barrels to make a double 62 cal BULLET rifle. It's rifled for an NEI lead copy of a 600 Nitro Express 900 grain bullet . Both breach plugs made and blanked out from the lathe, but the barrels are not yet joined at the breaches. I'd take $400 for them as they sit.

Also set of double rifle barrel in 8 bore, tapered and joined at the breaches. Both breach plugs made but unfitted. Barrels set ready for regulation with wedges, but contouring and fitting of round breach plug into the eccentric breach plug is not done yet. Ribs should be made first to fit up the breach plug contour and join them so all the lines will fit up. As they are I'd take $650 for them with the breach plugs.

Is Ed Rayl still building barrels? I have a 50 cal. 48" Rayl barrel on my flintlock chunk gun, 1:66 twist, 1 1/4" octagon. I haven't shot the chunk gun since having cataract surgery a couple of years ago.

I have not talked to Ed in a few years. I have not heard that he not still making barrels, but to be 100% honest I don't know

I just ordered a 48" long 1 1/2" diameter .50 caliber round barrel with a 1:66 twist from Rice. I'll be building my own underhammer percussion action from a piece of 1.5" round bar with about a 15 degree bend in the middle. The stock and barrel will be attached to the receiver with set screws when I'm at a shoot. The whole works will be rust browned once the metal butchery is done. "Plum Brown" is one of the few good products Birchwood Casey makes. I'll make a felt lined walnut case for the pieces when they're not in use.
