Get a new cap, that’s usually what it is with mine. That was the issue with my 029.

No need to keep oil in broke saws...... You do realize you are posting in a thread about a leaky Stihl, right? I'm sorry the joke went over your head.....or something. Don't quit your day job, son. LOL

LOL I don't plan on it, pretty good day job actually. If I ever do though, I'll fix broke huskys because there's plenty of em around........

So it leaks a little oil. It’s a saw. Are you storing it with your panties? Stihl fanboys are an entertaining bunch.

Wonder who all has oil dripping from their truck and they don't mind it all over the drive or shop floor.
If I spend $$ on something I expect it to work properly, if it doesn't I fix the problem instead of making excuses.

Nice clean 026.
Got two of them here, both red levers with original jugs. Good handy power:weight saw. I kept a worn out 026. Really need to remember to see if I can order a top end and rebuild it. As for saws not leaking oil. I can't say that I've ever had one that didn't leak a bit or a lot. But we've worn out half a dozen over the years as they do get used so the leaks are expected
