What kinda rum? Never been around the stuff because I have never heard of a rum ditch. Gosling Gold Rum Mexican coke in the glass bottle, real sugar, no corn syrup Lime Wife is hoity toity she is having some wine That is a Cuba Libre, right?

Best I can get in town is the white Sauza.
I have had some better ones ...but can't remember their names.
One was in a great big white and blue ceramic bottle.
I think I like a good tequila as much or maybe more than a good bourbon.

I'm retired but still have the 5-6 beers in the afternoon during a time that I was once just home from work. Then some supper.
The extra joy comes afterward. Cocktails till bedtime, whenever that might be. I stay away from the really cheap, &/or corn based Vodka that doesn't suit me. After that, if I feel bad the next day it's because I've over indulged, or didn't eat enough. Not hard to regulate.

I’m not a bourbon fan, but I can drink some really expensive scotch if someone else is buying! Good tequila is hard to beat. Another good one is tequila Ocho
