I wonder if that rack of lever-actions was recycled from The Andy Griffith Show???

Don't care.

I think I was rather enamored with Sky King's daughter more than the plane

McCloud was kind of a tough guy and carried a SAA .45 IIRC. Chester was a wimp in comparison. The show was part of a weekly rotation of crime dramas. Richard Boone was Heck Ramsey. Rock Hudson was in McMillan & Wife. I think there were others.

Yea, a definite boomer here. I don’t think Slumlord is much of any younger. In fact, I think he and Wabigoon might be the same person. Kind of like Superman and Clark Kent. They’re both kind of always around, but you never see them together. 🤔

Been to the site where Bonanza was filmed in Nineteen and Ninty Seven. By Incline Village Lake Tahoe. Pretty cool. They had a wax Chink <Hop Sing> by the food table in the ranch house.

LOL !
I think Slummy’s father must’ve tied him up in front of the TV and made him watch all those shows he hates so much.
Or made him stand there and hold the antenna the whole time to get the channel tuned in. 😜

I remember watching all those shows at the age of 10 or 11 in 1970 or so.
McCloud was cool cause he carried a Colt SAA in .45 Colt. And he constantly pissed off his Captain.

FWIW.

Thanks LW. Good info and it makes sense, now.
Coogan’s Bluff was a good early Eastwood film.

I was also a big Cade's County fan.

As for the rack of lever actions, they may have been stolen from Gunsmoke.

Leanwolf, you know anything about this, and when did you know it? 😆
