I enjoy watching her play and she did break the record for points, but IMO she didn't beat Pistol Pete's record. Mike That’s all true but Maravich also took half his team’s shots and averaged nearly 40 shots per game…nearly double what Clark took. Clark’s passing game is at least as good as her shooting game. Maravich’s teammates didn’t see the ball much! There are so many differences in the game and how they played I consider them equally great for the game of basketball.
