We don't have a thread bitching about the time switch coming up this weekend. Something so important shouldn't be left until the last minute.
Not a real member - just an ordinary guy who appreciates being able to hang around and say something once in awhile.

Why not jump 30 minutes - - - -forward or back- - - - -and just stay there year round? Or would that make too much sense?

DST here year round, except this weekend we jump ANOTHER hour to daylight daylight time. Solar noon comes at 2 pm. This AFU came about when "too many" time zones were consolitdated a bit across vast Alaska.
Really doesn't make a difference as to sleep/working hours (to me anyway), but the clock switching/ business hours is an annoyance. Reference Alaska's long summer daylight and long winter dark. Deal with it!
