For sale is a Browning Model 1885 7mm Rem single shot rifle. Falling block with full octagon barrel, muzzle brake installed, excellent condition with some minor marks on the wood. Metal is in near perfect condition. Rings included. Will sell for $1200 shipped. First I'll take it posted will get first precedents over any pending messages. Payment by money order, personal check, paypal (F&F or add 3%), or venmo. Buyer must be able to accept shipment from private seller to FFL. Per USPS regulations I will need a copy of the FFL sent to include in the packaging. Let me know if you have any questions. Since then I have owned about a dozen more. I can tell you for a fact they did not come with factory brakes. The one on that gun is aftermarket. The original barrel length on those was 28" It also might help your sale if you list that actual barrel length and the total length with the brake

I purchased this from the original owner who claimed it was factory. But after looking into more myself, you're right. Aftermarket. After measuring the barrel the actual length is approx 26" and 27.5" with the brake.
