If this has been discussed before, forgive my inquiry - but I couldn't find any specific discussion.
The Backcountry 1 pc mount looks significantly more robust than the Talley Lightweight 1 piece ring/mount. I've used Talley LW for the past 15+ years, and yes I've had 2 break, hence the inquiry.
What are thoughts on the Leup BC from people that have used them, preferably both the Talley and Leup.
Thanks.

I use and like them both. For the ones that want to 'farmer tight' stuff on with no prep work to eliminate stress, the Leupolds are a safer bet as they aren't extruded aluminum material. The Leupolds and Talleys both get the same mounting treatment here, though. -Al

I only have one set that I put on a 300 Weatherby and they lined up very well and in shooting, so far so good. 😊
Very simple design with one less interface that can fail.

Sure would be nice to see Burris build one that also integrated their "Signature" eccentric live centers.........

I'm slowly swapping out the Talley's for the Leupold's. Also D&T mounting holes to 8-40 when I do.
