You goons ever heard of a chess pie?

I made two. Never tried it.


One goes to a fundraiser tomorrow. The other one gets eaten or possibly dumped.


Chess pie.

My palsy got me and I added a bit too much vanilla to one of them.


But I can't frigging remember which one.

Pecan pie without the pecans.

Can't wait for fresh fruit in the summer here. Informed my wife after tasting the crust on last night's chicken pot pie that she's under orders to make fruit pies this summer.

Jim, make yourself a peanut butter pie. I don’t have a recipe . About 15 years ago I built a shop for a guy. He just got married and the wife was a great cook. That’s the first and only times I had peanut butter pie. She kept the pie in the fridge. Same crust as a cheesecake. I had the pie about 4 times during the job. We planted two trees a handful of years ago in Idaho. First year after gave us more than enough for a pie, delicious it was. Zero thereafter so they have been pulled. Hard growing whether Idaho or Texas when we are in the wrong place at the right time.

Love any berry pies..lemon meringue..strawberry rhubarb are all great

We do gather hucks in Idaho as we did outside Pt. Arena.
