I would like to do a deer hunt this fall in West Texas or Illinois anyone have any good outfitter recommendations, or ones to stay away from, thanks

Where in west tx you looking? High fence? Low fence?

I guess I don't know where, High fence I would think they wold cost more and better quality of deer, low fence would be cheaper with smaller deer? just asking for a good hunt.

This guy Cody Malone I have met. He is awesome at what he does but it’s high fence and not cheap…but last time looked what he offered is cheaper than a lot of other high fence outfits.

Texas is all about horns. Either decide how much you're willing to pay for them or look for meat hunts where you can take does, management bucks, and feral hogs.

I would definately beware of operations that charge by antler score or have restrictions on size of deer taken also ones that have draw blood policies.
