Yeah, snakes tend to try to push through it instead of navigate around it, then end up getting caught. I lot of folks use two different sizes on the same pole for different size snakes. A big rat snake can get around a typical baffle folks put on poles so snake netting is pretty much a must. Anyway, fun birds, this is my 5 season with them. Have 26 adults that have already arrived, last years hatch should be arriving any day but doubt I'll have enough room...I think I'm pretty much full.
