I once watched endless waves of Lemmings (it lasted for 6 or 8 weeks) race to the water. (This was far down the Alaska Peninsula, near King Salmon)
ALASKA is a "HARD COUNTRY for OLDMEN". (But if you live it wide'ass open, balls'to the wall, the pedal floored, full throttle, it is a delightful place, to finally just sit-back and savor those memories while sipping Tequila).

King Salmon is " Far down the Alaskan peninsula ?? Is that a question or a statement. (either way, I feel it is only 15% or 20% of the way down the Alaska Peninsula. I had a Hunting-Fishing Lodge near King Salmon).
