Mine's fine. Shoots good, but it's not something I play with much. It rides in my hunting pack as an emergency survival weapon. Plenty of firepower and light as a feather.

I helped 2 of my buds with their new ones.
My observations on the 2; find the brand & bullet weight of ammo the like( the owners manual makes suggestions) & stay with it. Keep them well lubed, & don't load much past 25 rounds in the mags. Reliability numbers will indicate how full a mag it will tolerate.
If I was a big 22 mag fan I might want one, butt from what I've seen I wouldn't depend on one for anything serious.

He plans on carrying it when he's shark fishing down the island so he doesn't want to spend a lot on one that will be exposed to the salt all the time.

I like mine, took a bit to find out what it likes to eat.
Thankfully it was cheap Armscorp stuff. No failures, can dump 30 rounds no prob.
The light weight makes it ideal for a ditch bag piece, and with two loaded mags I’ve got 60 rounds at my disposal. It’s a real bitch to get a full 30 rounds loaded though!

I agree with the other posters about loading to about 25 rounds. Let us know if he gets one.

Fun fact: Boeing lightning lab has some test equipment made by Keltec in Florida.

I wish Billy Mays were still alive so he could do ads for Keltec and they could pay him in cocaine.

brothers thinking of buying one, are they worth a chit? From what I’ve read, they’re hit or miss… I had one about 10 years ago and couldn’t find any ammo that would shoot even semi accurately… it’s probably why the guy I bought it from sold it. Otherwise I really liked it… If your brother decides to buy one, suggest new and not second hand.

Hopefully it runs.

All or most worked out now. Use a 40 gr bullet. Good and plenty inertia to ensure no cycling issues.

I tried really hard to convince myself to buy a PMR 30 and pair it up with a CZ 512 (auto). .22WMR, of course.

I've been looking at the keltc bulpup shotguns lately. Can't decide between the ksg or ks7. My 10 year old daughter wants the ksg 410.

Bb IIRC they are pretty heavy... Kinda like the RFB maybe.

It won’t be shot much, that’s good. Ear protection probably won’t be worn. That’s B.A.D.
I’m not a fan of 22mag handguns. They are loud as hell. About like getting kicked by a mule, but only pulling like a Husky.
I’d buy the cheapest Glock 9mm LEO trade and use it. Might cost more. But it’s more reliable, more versatile, and he won’t need to put a paper bag on his head to use it.

and he won’t need to put a paper bag on his head to use it. If you are worried about what other people think of the firearm you are holding I suggest looking into TRT.

Have one on 4-wheeler for sundry duties. Nifty. Little finicky loading mag, but a fun pistol.

Load it on the first and shoot it all month! Seriously though 30 rounds of 22 mag at your quick disposal could be handy in a pinch. There’s really nothing else out there like it.

I'm kind of interested in the M&P 22 mag. It's also got a 30 rd mag but it is gas operated instead of straight blowback. I prefer the looks of the smith and it has an optic mount.
Does anyone have the m&p? Is it reliable?
