Same. No matter what, on my way I look at the clock and say that I wish I had left a 1/2 hour earlier.

My "... anything new ..." this year is to actually go hunting! LOL!
I haven't been able to actually GO turkey hunting since the spring of 2019.
It's been a real bummer, but all the stars actually aligned this year! 😃

Pox and drought hit our turkey population, HARD, but they are beginning to make a comeback.
Beginning to see a few birds around.
At this point, I haven't turkey hunted in so long, I'll take a distant response to a bad call! 😄
