The desert is a true treasure for him who seeks refuge from men and the evil of men. In it is contentment In it is death and all you seek (Quoted from "The Bleeding of the Stone" Ibrahim Al-Koni)
personally I don't have ANY use for a Rapper, especially ones that are supposedly singing country music to a rap beat...
But Savage Hunter also has a good solution to the subject here also. at least IMHO.
Wouldn't you rather have your kids listening to lyrics that talk about hunting, fishing, 4 wheelin' & shooting guns instead of ghetto talk?
My grand-kids listen to "country rap" and I am glad that they sing words about country life instead of cop killin, gang bangin, & dope smoking.
Just sayin.
None of my " kids" listen to country rap, or any ghetto rap about cop killin, gang bangin or anything to do with drugs. Instead they pretty much enjoy a lot of music I listened to from back in the 60s growing up, up to and thru the 70s, thru about 2010. My "kids" have conservative tastes, guess because that is what they grew up listening to... and they really aren't into the ghetto scene, be it white folk, black folk, city folk or redneck folk.
They aren't part of the drug scene at all, because they saw their parents not into it. They don't smoke or care to drink alcohol either, because that is the environment they were raised in. They work in the medical environment as that is also what they grew up around. And they never grew up with the ghetto talk either...
