DeSantis is likely to find himself in a difficult situation. 

"A recent Monmouth University survey found 84 percent of U.S. voters think illegal immigration is either a "serious" or "very serious" issue for the nation, against just 10 percent who believe it is "not too serious" and five percent for "not at all serious."
During Tuesday's House committee hearing, Gaetz, a passionate Trump supporter, also asked Army General Laura Richardson, who heads the U.S. Southern Command, whether the government should "activate the authorities, anticipating a mass migration."

She replied: "I think that we need to be postured appropriately for that. I have put in a request for increased capability to do exactly that. And we are ready if we need to deal with a mass migration."
On Tuesday, the New York Post published a leaked Florida Border Force memo suggesting the chaos in Haiti would prevent the repatriation of migrants to the country (Haiti).
It said: "With the breakdown of the government in Haiti repatriating Haitians may not be happening for the foreseeable future. If this is the case, then the Coast Guard may not be stopping Haitian sail freighter[s]. They will just be escorting them into land."

Easy question, from Guantanamo Bay will Haitian refugees be repatriated to Haiti or admitted as migrants?

Further perspective on immigration:
New York City is spending about $387 per day per migrant to provide food and shelter to the 64,800 migrants in the city, according to data from NYC City Hall.February’s number is down $5 from an October count when the city was housing 65,400 migrants. That number peaked in November, hitting $391 per day per migrant. These numbers do not reflect the cost of other services like medical care and education.“In the last two months, Mayor Adams has laid out plans to save billions of taxpayer dollars as New York City manages a national humanitarian crisis, and the numbers show that our efforts are working,” a City Hall spokesperson told The New York Post Tuesday.

Ron can't stop them from landing. State of Florida doesn't have the jurisdiction or resources (boats). He CAN put them in a bus/plan and send them to NYC !!!

Ron needs to have busses ready and utilize amtrac ship them further north. They need to start targeting the capitol cities.

Haiti & Haitian are as bad as it get; wherever they end up in the US will quickly get turned into the cesspool that has been Haiti forever, & it will happen fast.
