Obviously loved and used but not abused and more importantly not altered.
Solid specimen and "buy" for someone wanting a pre-war 70. Getting harder to find in this presentation as well. Priced very fairly. Would add "not bad looking for an almost 90 year old lady!"

This is ultimate classic rifle! I have it’s twin but in a Super Grade.
The workmanship of this M70 rifle is second to none IMO.

Lots of people were talking to themselves on this one I suspect and rightfully so!!!
It did not take "loony" status to see the value in this offering. In fact, I would go on to say that if this particular rifle/price did not "affect" you at some level then you should consider turning in your Campfire card among other things.

A few years back, I bought, then sold, an old Model 70 Winchester 30-06 with a three digit serial number!😱 Live and learn, but then it might be too late. donsm70

My brother is a machinist and once made me a rear scope base that attached to the receiver sight holes. Nice rifle you have I let another family member buy the rifle. Nice unaltered rifle you have.
