Wish I had one that worked. I bought one that looked as nice as that (minus the grips) back about ten years ago at a local gun store, but it was a jammomatic regardless of ammo used in it. The store had an on site gunsmith who kept trying to fix it, but after a year of back and forth they gave me a full refund for it.

Those woodsman’s are such a joy to carry and shoot. I worry about shooting mine as parts are difficult to find. Should I worry or just shoot the heck out of it?

The old, worn walnuts came on it, and I made a pair of Corian fake ivory grips to replace the beater walnuts maybe 15 years ago. I built them more like the second and third series Woodsman grips with the little 'ears' on them. this is what it looked like before throwing the camo Franzite's on... Got a herd of the damn things that eat anything not made of steel on the tractor out at the farm. Last year they ate the plastic off the battery until it had a hole and the water leaked out.

We would take it out to the dump and shoot rats, cans or anything else that caught our attention. That gun pointed like your index finger and with a little practice it was easy to hit thrown cans. Or just using either thumb on a one handed grip. They've seemed to adjust just fine, just as they have with the 1911's and single-side safeties.
