Sad to hear it. In the early 80's SCTV was better than SNL. RIP Guy Caballero. I phuggin hate to agree with you, but you are right. guy rocked the Panama hat he would would wear playing the out of touch media exec sctv nailed comedy

In the heyday of SCTV, I lived in rural Alberta. We could get CTV and CBC TV. SCTV was on ITV which we couldn't get in the valley our farm was in. When we were visiting friends, I saw it. It was quite funny. Most of the stars had lengthy careers in the US TV and movies.
