No, but was at my local range when the NRA tech guys were wringing out a sample, along with one of the MLs using the breech-loaded powder thingys. It looked big and heavy, and the Cabelas listing shows it at 8.8 pounds, buck-naked. Sorry, but that’s just too heavy, for no obvious benefit. Swing and a miss IMO, and oogly, even for a Savage, to boot. What fresh Hell is this?

I really want to like it because of the Camo pattern (Kuiu?) and threaded barrel...but custom mausers and some Ruger No 1's keep getting my money
