I was wondering what the main difference is between the cheaper hunter model and the pro model? Is the pro worth the extra money?

Also wondering thoughts on the Rip Cord vs. the QAD's...

I am looking for a rest for the girl...and I know nothing about them. Thanks....

First off, you will find alot more durable hardware on the QAD versus the RipCord. They basically do the exact same thing, but the QAD is built better than the RipCord.

As far as the difference between the QAD Hunter and the Pro models, the Pro allows for both horizontal and vertical adjustment while the Hunter(and the RipCord) adjusts only horizontally. The pro is designed to be more friendly to metered adjustment and the hunter is more basic. Both are good rests, I run the QAD Pro as part of my setup and have never had a problem.
