Burris discontinued the Fullfield 2 and it seems no one has them but Amazon.Has anyone ordered one and are they legitimate or possible bootlegs.I have a older one and it is a great scope never any issues but do not want to get ripped off in these days of scammers putting out copies. Thanks for any input.

I bought a bunch of them when they were on sale last year through Amazon and they were all legit. As long as the seller is Amazon you should have no issues, and I just looked it up and it does say that Amazon is the seller currently for the 3-9’s they have listed.

Yep I bought a bunch especially after I compared the first to my early one. Still have a couple spares.

I ordered one last year. I think for 105.00.. Installed on my 300 Weatherby that killed a Leupold VX3 in 3 years. Shot twice. Whirled the adjustments the right number of clicks. Shot 2 more times it was perfectly zeroed. Shot 3 more to confirm and perfect. Took hunting. Killed my second buck. Longest shot of the season hit him right where I wanted. You could spend more and get much less.

It's legit. I paid $81.75 for one on a Black Friday deal. It's sold by Amazon with free returns. How could you get hurt?

I bought one of the 3-9x40 E1s for $140, sold by Optics Planet, shipped by Amazon. Plain duplex.

A while back I bought an E1 3-9x50 for $100 from Natchez. Had to pay shipping on that one.

I bought 2 from Amazon a few months back, when they were $99. No problems here. Better buy them while they are still available. When they are gone, they are going to be $200.00. Trust me on this one.. I wouldn't buy a regular FFII, but I would buy the one with the ballistic plex reticle. That is the selling point of this particular scope.

I paid 109. They are now 189. So close bud.

Yep, they are going to go up in price, when they are all gone. Hopefully you were smart and bought one with a reticle like this:

I have a few of those. The 3-9X40 is enough scope for any of my big game rifles but I bought a couple of the 4.5-14X42's that I have on a couple rifles I only shoot at targets with. IMO the best bang for the dollar.

I called Burris and ask them same question, they said no because of wire reticle.
Guy suggested the E1 because he said it had an etched reticle.

I bought 6 with that reticle. Beauty is Burris web site has a cool function for dialing in the reticle at different power settings.

No way. Not one with any soup anyway. The vibration and “reverse recoil” from one of those will kill a scope not designed to handle it, sooner or later. Look for scopes that advertise their ability to take that. No sense killing a good scope for naught.

As Burris advised above.
