I didn't care for it, much too small. I've seen this with a few different manufacturers, not sure why they insist on making the reticles that small (unless they are sharing the same reticle between 1st and 2nd focal plane scopes).

I have one scope with that reticle - I use it but I don't particularly like it. It's small as noted above.

I’ve had a couple, including one now. For the use to which I put those scopes it’s not been a problem, but it wouldn’t be my choice for hunting in the woods for certain.
The 3-9x40 E1 I just got in has a standard duplex, thankfully. The 3-9x50 I got from Natchez for $100 has the little one, but it’s on a range toy, where the extra marks may actually have some use if I bother to futz around with the app.
What fresh Hell is this?

It's a goofy reticle especially at low light. But it works. The burris ballistic plex is way better. 2-7 e1:

if you're using it on a gun that you're probably going to shoot on the lower power end of the scope that reticle was probably not the best choice.
however if you're using the scope on the upper end of the magnification I think it's an awesome choice..

however if you're using the scope on the upper end of the magnification I think it's an awesome choice.. I'm curious how it makes any difference, the reticle doesn't change size whether its on the lower or upper end of the mag range...either way, its still much too small.

I liked the illuminated version if you can find one, otherwise I agree with the others, it’s a little small.

I think it's fine for a varmint rifle. Not so much for big game.

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.

I didn't care for it. The Ballistics plex is much better IMO.

It’s why that illuminated version Doug had was/is so popular: the other reticle sucked for hunting compared to that one. If they’d do that illum dot in ALL the E1s, there’d be a lot more sold.
