Anyone have any on game experience with this bullet? Looks like Midway has a decent price on these as overruns. I have had nice results with the 120. Thinking about getting these if they are a good to go. I know they make both a ballistic tip and an accubond in the 7MM 160gr. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1026573051?pid=926340

Well I can highly recommend the 150 grain version. I expect they will be very good bullets.

My experience has only been with the 40gr 22cal BT and it performs well on coyotes out of my Hornet. In larger guns I have found BT's to be very accurate but I haven't ever shot anything with them . I use Hornaday Sst's and Speer Boatails in my 7mm mag (162 gr) . In my 708 I use Speer Boatails (130's and145's) and Hornaday 139GR SST'S. I use these on White Tails and ferral pigs with good terminal performance . I buy the SST's rather than Balistic tips cause they are a little more cost effective and they work fine on my target animals. If I was hunting out west I would probably load accubonds.
Not exactly what you asked but good info anyway. I like to know what folks are loading and how it works.

Hmm.
160gr NBT.
That's new. Think I found my new goto for the 7mm STW. IME the NBT's are more accurate than the AB's.

Seems like that would be pretty righteous in a 7mm Rem Mag!

In the Q&A it says they have a cannelure....that takes away my interest, I will just keep using the 160AB

I have been running 170 Nosler ballistic tip seconds in 1-8 twist 270 WSM. Super accurate bullet and performed well on whitetail for son who adopted that rifle last fall. The 160 7mm should be similar.

I have read that Nosler only sells their seconds through Shooter's Pro Shop. The seconds from Midway are usually Hornady.

Deer season in today's market??
opens at low velocity, high sectional density...
perfect candidate for Blue Dot use. Kids and even Schtick can handle the recoil....

NBTs are my favorite bullet for deer. I have shot the 7mm versions from 7mm-08, 7x57, 280, and 7mm Rem Mag. Great accuracy, no issues with expansion, and relatively inexpensive. I’ve also used the 95gr 6mm, 100 and 115gr .25; 150, 165, and 180gr .30. All worked great.

I would lean towards the ABs myself.

Probably overruns from an order for another ammo manufacturer that specified a cannelure. I’ve seen BT bullets on SPS that had cannelures also. They have overrun Nosler brass at Midway also.

Have also purchased such overruns of Partitions that have cannelures, when the "standard" bullet doesn't. Have also actually killed various kinds of big game with those non-standard cannelured bullets and never seen any difference in performance....
