Today is also the birthday of Robert E Lee, Edgar Allan Poe, and Dolly Parton. I share the birth date of 1-19-1931 with Robert MacNeil (TV newsman) and Tippi Hedren (movie actress, mother of actress Melanie Griffith, vegetarian, and animal-rights nit-wit).
Through the years, I've been pleased to learn that 19 January is also several of my friends' birthday. My favorite "birthday girl," however, is my gorgeous niece Linda Howell McKee.
