Too many guns.... Too many loads... Too many ways to keep records, all of which don't really fit what I want. Enter the computer!!
I make my own log sheets, changing content as I see a need to change. Each gun has it's own pressboard binder, with a label on the front (Yeah, it's computer generated too [Linked Image] ).
Then each CALIBER has a binder with general information about that caliber as it applies to more than one gun. For example, I have 5 .243's, and some notes pertain to all of them.
I do not use 3-ring binders, as they are far too bulky. The pressboard binders take 3-hole sheets, but are only the thickness of the pages plus the covers, and will expand essentially indefinitely.
Here is mine:

------------------
Critr
www.SaguaroSafaris.com
"Let's break out some Winchesters, boys." Oh, yes. I also print my targets, one-inch grid with 5 bulls on each 8 1/2 x 11 sheet, on heavy paper with a data block across the bottom. Then after each range session, I punch holes and put them in the back of the binder for that gun. Makes a neat package, and targets as well as data summaries are stored neatly and indefinitely.
------------------
Critr
www.SaguaroSafaris.com
"Let's break out some Winchesters, boys."
