OP mpmax Campfire Member M Joined: Jul 2007 Posts: 274 Oregon	Anyone know the story behind the Savage 755a shotgun? I know they made them from 1948-1959, it's recoil operated and I got one really cheap. Last edited by mpmax; 05/28/08.

Never had it fail and I take it to sporting clay tornaments and hunting and do well at that. It's better to be hated for who you are than loved for who you're not '41 99EG-300,45 s.s. 30-06,110E 35Whelen,340's 222/3030, NRA Match, 303 U.S. Enfield, 430 o/u 12, 755 12, 67 12 slug, 5100 12, 315 12, 24 12/30-30 and looking for more.......

There are many better-made Auto5 variations available. Originally a cheap route to a new Auto5, with a modern, "sleek" look. About as sleek looking as Larry the Cable Guy. Not as funny though.

Nope, 12 gauge, not cut, and no butt plate under the pad. I found a pachy. pad under the bench that is a close fit. Still a good buy at $125?
