Anyone know of a good source of used parts for Polaris ATVs? I need a seat for my old 1994 model. The local dealership wants over $200 for a new one.

Thanks in advance

Problem with them Polarises is that they run forever, so used part for something as new as a 94 are hard to find. Can't you get the old one recovered or rebuilt cheaper than that?

If you need an entire seat - I'm no help. Lots of outfits sell new seat covers for $50-$70.

The cover ain't in too bad a shape. The little hooks or corners or whatever it is on the front have broken off.

I had a 96' Sportman 500 and the front tabs broke as well. I created a rough mold of what it should look like out of masking tape in place. I then poured fiberglass resin into mold and let dry. Once completely dry, I tore off the tape and used a dremel tool to shape to exact specs. Pain in the butt, but it worked for me. Hope that helps.

you light try shaping some steel or aluminum for the tabs then rivet them on with large washers. i have done this to street bikes before and it works like a charm...

Thanks for the ideas. Now I have something to play with in the off season.
