I am PCSing (moving) and deploying in the very near future and I need to unload some stuff so the spouse doesn't have to worry about moving it. Looking at selling a Oehler 35P... although they are not making these any more, Oheler is still serving and honoring the warranty for these.

This unit has sat in the closet for several years. I have the carrying case and some other accessories.

Asking $250 plus shipping.

Let me apologize to everyone before I start.

It seems to me that we sometimes get so caught up in wanting to get a great deal on firearms/parts/accessories here, that we forget what is really important and necessary. With that brief intro, I have something to say about the comment posted here in this thread. And I'm sure it will probably get pulled later tonight or tomorrow when the forum police arrive. But its on my chest and I gotta get it off now.

Sounds like he didn't actually realize the Oehler 35P was worth way more that he was asking and you want to give him kudos for not being a 'price gouger'?

I have heard way too many whining, sniveling, slimey turd heads crying as of late.

This man and his family are undergoing a PCS prior to deployment and all you can think about is, Thank God he's not a friggin' price gouger?

I would personally like to offer a to Newguy for his service to this Country in protecting our freedoms which are sometimes so quickly thrown about, as in this case.

I just did the same thing with an 1894--probably priced it $100 low. However, I came out ahead on the deal and my integrity is too important to fuss over losing a little money. I can promise you this is Newguy's view as well.

I stick to what I said. It was sold for what it is worth. Some have paniced when they realized the 35(p) was best in it's class and no longer available, just because a few idiots will pay more I do not believe it is worth the $600+ asking prices that some are posting.

Blaine, you are right on that. I spoke to Daveh on the phone and he seems like a class act, and I hope he enjoys using the chronograph.

I didn't know they stopped selling the consumer versions of Oehler chrono's. The commerical versions are not cheap.

Too bad really, I'm glad I bought mine a few years back.
