This is my second season using a T/C Encore .50 Caliber, 26" barrel. Last season I used 2-50 grain T7 pellets and the Powerbelt bullets. This season I have switched to 2-60 grain T7 pellets (120 grain) and the 250 grain 45 caliber Hornady SST/ML in the red sabot (easy glide). I put a new Nikon ProStaff 3-9x40 scope in Weaver rings and bases on the rifle. I zeroed to 1" high at 100 yards yesterday. I realize that my longest shot will be a max of 150 yards and I really have no idea what is the normal and/or recommended zero for a muzzleloader?

Odessa,

Your just fine for "zero", but I would hold on the spine at 150 yards for a dead center lung hit.

If you use the intersection of the thin and thick crosshair (X)
on the spine of a Deer at 200 yards with you load get out your knife.
