I've had this release for about 2-3 weeks now and was really digging it.........until yesterday. I was outside shooting my bow at my 18-1 target and allwas going as planned. I moved the target out to 30 yards and pulled back on my bow, gently squeezed the trigger, heard a little click and then nothing. I was kind of stunned for a second and didn't know what to do, the arrow was still there and my release was half cocked so I gently let my string go froward then the release let go of it and the arrow sailed into the ground. I thought this mjust might be a fluke so I tried it again and it did the same thing. This happened severl more times and i ended up going back to my FletchHunter release. Anyone else have anything like this happen before? I love that release but this has me worried.

I use a Quickie II, but have not had any issues. Have you checked the adjustment screw? Backed out too far? That screw is freaking tiny, but I have adjusted mine. I would do that first, and then contact Carter 2nd. If you do not have the instructions for the adjustment, they can be had on the Carter site. BTW, I love that release too.

Here ya go. Instructions are on the bottom of the text.

Faith and love of others knows no mileage nor bounds. That's simply the way it is.

After the game is over, the king and the pawn go into the same box.

Funny thing is I shot this thing a bunch before I started hunting with it, then I decided I better check my zero on my bow when this all happened. The owner of the bow shop where I bought the release gave me another to use and told me if I didn't like it or still had issues that he would gladly refund my money. I'll give'er another shot tonight and see what happens. By the way, I did adjust it a little bit and that didn't help.
