I would like to here of some first hand experience and techniques for sticking those bou...
The closest I got to harvesting one was 103yd (would have let one go @ 60)......after trying to circle around a ridge down to some flats, the bou was already parralel with me when I got there....so I knocked an arrow, stood up and held the bow on top of my head to show my rack....the young bull in lead squared off on me and snorted and pawed and I did so back....this went on about three times...well I decided to sit down and turned my head for a sec and they were running away(probably thought I was a wolf).....oh well live and learn......I'm new to this style of hunting so I was wondering if some of you that know their stuff would share some helpful info/experience.....thanks ahead of time.........Boot

Funny! I did almost the same thing but used a caribou rack. Yea I know, not smart, but no one was around for 150 miles. Seems that the bou figured the .35 Whelen in the other hand was not appropriate either.
They are stupid animals sometimes but once in a while the gene pool has to produce a brain.
