That's a fine rifle there.

Open to trades? If so, let's chat.

I can't tell from the pic, but is this a pushfeed or control round feed action?

Control round feed. Seems like I read where Browning used Sako actions on these rifles, but I could be mistaken.

some of the later fn actions used a push feed system with a sako sytle extractor, but were still fn made actions. thats why people ask if they are long or short exractors.the short action and medium actions were mostly sako. some 308s used the fn action.

The bolt on this rifle looks just like a Pre 64 Winchester model 70 bolt. The safety however is not 3 position.

That is not a 1969 gun-a '69 Mauser action gun in anything other than 30/06 or 270 will have a push feed action.Your's is the much more desireable long extractor, which would put it between 1963 and 1967.
VERY nice rifle and a very good price. If I wasn't gun poor at the moment I'd buy it myself.

Hey, don't worry, wives love this kind of stuff, they just rant and rave because they think they are supposed to. Inside every wife is a closet gun crank!! LOL

Does it have any rust if you remove the stock?

I have never removed the stock but I can do so and report back. I see absolutely no signs of rust where wood and metal meet. Blueing is deep rich blue.
