They are sexy in some people's opinion They make arrows more visible, if you use bright colored wraps That's about all they do. I use them on all my arrows.

Actually they also help vanes stick better. Much better. There for vanes are more durable and your arrow flies better. I like solid white for film. Sometimes i'll write [bleep] like die muther f'er on my vanes which are also white.

I like them on mine to help with finding them after the shot. Plus they look cool.

I use a WB rest and Blazer vanes have been the only I find that will hold up. B vanes on wraps are damn near indestructable.
Nice wrap! Like the colors.

Wraps make some vanes stick better on some shafts. Wraps are also easier to strip off arrows when you tear a vane than the new cyanoacetate super glues. The only drawback is if you tear a vane, you've got to re fletch all three. I learned an application tip. You lie them out on a mouse pad, and roll the arrow on. It works, and applies them nice and straight.

I've just recently purchased some of the NAP QuikFletch QuikSpinST. These things are pretty cool. I took off the old vanes, boiled some water, slid the QuikFletch over the shaft and just dip them into the hot water. Done ! They fly nice and straight. NO GLUE ! Should be able too use a razor blade for easy removal if one gets damaged.

Wraps are cool. Their functional too. Like the guys said, they help the vanes stick better - are easier to see in flight or on the ground. They also have a high CDI factor- ( Chicks dig it ). When time comes to change them out, us a hair dryer to heat them up and they'll peel right off - no sweat.

i like a simple white or yellow to white wrap myself, as others have said, makes refletching a breeze, easier to find your arrows, tell them apart at 3-d shoots, and gives you after shot feedback on game www.battledrumwraps.com is the place to go, anything you can think up they can deliver on. here are my cousins fla gator wraps

Do you specify the arrow size to get the correct size of wrap or just trim the excess??

I got mine from onestringer.com (IIRC) on line ALOT cheaper than I could otherwise.
- Yes you measure your arrow diameter - I used a string, then I ordered what length I wanted.
