I have been waiting a few weeks for a rifle that had a defect. It's ejector broke after the 3rd round. A new rifle. It's a 1895CB 45-70.
The gunsmith tells me he has been unable to get through to Marlin. Has anyone else been having trouble communicating with Marlin? I would appreciate any help. A direct line maybe? Thanks.

Marlin lines have been busy for a month or so. Try calling after 3 pm eastern time. Expect about 15 min. on hold.

Why not just put a WWG Bearproof Ejector in it? I replaced mine with one.

You can also pick them up at Brownell's.. I picked up a couple of spares for my 336 and 1895 from them..
