I went to a Tower shoot at my BIL's mega $$$$ hunting club yesterday.
17 stations,500 birds,23 shooters,I got 4 birds.

I couldn't use my gun 1100 20ga because the rules require a break open gun and my only dub barrel is on the bench (fox sbs 20ga),I would've looked like the hired help with all the high end custom gun's there.
so I had to use a borrowed Berreta OU 20 ga,I would've had better luck using a sling shot or just throwing rocks.

mind you I have never been considered good with a scattergun,I usually hit 50% at best at the trap range but JHC,I couldn't hit the floor with my hat.
still had a good time shooting and missing, 2 1/2 boxes of shells worth,and watching the dog's work.

I have had some aweful days afeild on borrowed guns. Fit has a lot to do with it.
At least its still fun!

Just burning powder is pretty good.

some of these guy's guy's were just sick with thier gun's,they were keeping dead birds in the air by repeatedly shooting them.

I guess when you aren't hunting for food you can just blow it away.

I shot a 1 out of 50 once with a borrowed 20ga youth pump. It fit me so terribly, I couldn't tell where I was shooting. Gun fit and balance are big priorities for me, be it a rifle or a shotgun.

I know I could've done alot better with my 1100 20 ga.

you should've seen the disgusting display of $$$$$ shotguns and gear.
at lunch they were talking about losing millions but it was no big deal,I just listened,what was I going to talk about?
Mrs. Murphy still owews me $3000.00 for wiring her kitchen?
