This rifle was a treasure to someone. Hopefully she is relation and you can get all of the history to pass along to your youngings.

I just had my wife read this hole post she is on her way to the packy to pick up a good bottle of scotch for her she loves that stuff can't stand it myself going to go sit with her tomorrow nite and talk let me tell you she can do that she is very nice women I have known her for about 35 years met her when I was 15 years old used to do her driveway in winter she has always been alone

At 92 the stories will be very interesting hopefully you can remember those told already.

invisabill, no telling what you'll find there. Go buy a lottery ticket, can't lose. With the Jeffrey as an indication, I wouldn't expect to see junk. Don I don't think there is any junk in that house I was afrade I would break something that is why I got out of there

Hi guys I went over to the house last nite I got to talk to her for a cupple of hours she loves the scotch she said that her father kept a book that has history of everywhere he went it is in a brief case up in attic she knows that for a fact. she said he kept everything from hunts ,guides,places he stayed ,people he hunted with I cant wait to get my hands on that.I want to take the gun to get it apraised there is an antique road show coming this summer .I will be there with it and the 86 hopefully I will have the case with history in it by then. I asked her about the other gun cases up there she said that he had other guns even some pistols all should be up there I wanted to go up there so bad I could taste it she said one of pistols was in an old cowboy holster. well guys I have to go been out on boat since 330am got to get some sleep I will keep you informed
