I just got back from a job in CA today. It has been about 7 weeks since I purchased this rifle from someone on GA, and was told it was a Model 39A. Well it wasn't what the seller lead me to believe it was, because when I opened the box it was an unfired Marlin Golden 39A Mountie made in 1965. Hell I wanted a Model 39A that I could hunt with. I just bought an unfired Model 39M at a gun show several weeks ago. Should I try contacting the seller again, to see if he will refund my $200? Or what other recourse do I have?

If I lived in the US I'd buy it from you, maybe even throw in an extra few bucks... I'll ask...are you kidding, or stupid?  That rifle is worth several times what you paid for it. Advertise it in the classified section here, and it will sell very, very quickly.
Anybody who seriously concerns themselves with the adequacy of a Big 7mm for anything we hunt here short of brown bear, is a dufus. They are mostly making shidt up. Crunch! Nite-nite!
