I have used this pack for hunting, climbing, day hikes, and light over-nighters. It is very durable (500d cordura body, 1000d cordura base) and can handle a pretty good load (two aluminum stays). I have had approx. 45 lbs. in it for a 20 hour car to car climb and it managed it well. The aluminum stays are easily removable to lighten it up, and it also has a zippered front pocket and top lid. I am 6' 2" and am almost to tall for it. It should fit someone in the 5'9"-6'2" range well. The fabric is all is perfect functional condition. There are some stains on the body and on/in the top lid. You can see the worst of them in the pictures. I have another pack that fits the same role, so this one has to go.
