My first compound was one. Compared to todays bows, it was heavy, slow, noisy and had a LOT of wheels. It was very accurate for me though, and I thoroughly enjoyed the hunts I had with it. My first whitetail bow kill was made with it.

The Whitetail was my first compound bow, as was a Whitetail Hunter was my Dad's. The difference was the inboard pulley configuration. Dad has the Whitetail Hunter, which has fixed pulleys that you bolt onto the inboard "racks". Dad still uses it to this day. My Whitetail had adjustable pulley arms that allowed more weight adjustments.
I have one small doe to my credit with the Whitetail.
I now use a Golden Eagle that I bought to upgrade about 20 years ago.
Surprisingly, my libtard sister and brother-in-law are allowing my father to get my 5-year old nephew into archery. In time, my Whitetail might just be his.

Still have mine and it shoots as good as ever ( for a 80's compound bow ). Have to say the arrows I shoot look like telephone poles compared to the little carbon things my friends shoot.
And yes it does vibrate. Thought I was the only one that could not keep a quiver on mine.
But I took a small doe last year with it.

I shot my first deer in 1982 with a Bear Whitetail Hunter. Can't recall what happened to it but I wish I would have hung onto it for sentimental reasons.

Killed my first deer with one back in '82. Then the Jennings T-star II, Pearson Spoiler, Proline Point Blank, Hoyt Super Slam, Hoyt Striker 2. Then back to recurves with Bear Kodiak Mag, Grizzly, couple of Hummingbird Kingfisher, and a Silvertip on the way.
Wow, the memories in that list. Scott you'll like the Tip I have 2 now. The Hummingbirds are very good also, I have shot a lot with Ben and Linda. The Tip just feels better to me. I had a Whitetail Hunter in the early 80s and it wasn't that bad, everybody had one back then.
