I have a Marlin 336 that I am wanting to have the factory barrel pulled, re-chambered, a little bit of set-back, and re-installed. My local guy isn't "wow"ing me as he says he doesn't do enough lever action work to justify specific action wrenches or barrel vices--respectable, I just get the feeling he was brushing me off.
So, looking for a decent lever-action gunsmith--any recommendations?
