A government is the most dangerous threat to mans rights: it holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force against legally disarmed victims.

#1 is a little blurry - you are using a tripod, right ?

#2 & #3 are washed out (over-exposed) - likely from a multi-point metering

I am I correct to assume you're using an "auto exposure" function rather than manual ?

I would recommend:

stable tripod
longer lens to isolate the moon a little more
meter / expose for the moon only (rather than the whole sky)
manual settings (take a bunch)

for example:

1200mm , f11 , 1/60 sec

I pulled some old class handouts from the BD time. The hand out is titled "Recommendations for exposure for low light subjects".
Full moon, direct pictures ASA 100 1/125/f11 ASA 800 1/500/f16 and you must use a tripod

Handgun Hunter no more. STILL LOVE THOSE .41's
