Anyone have load data using the 110gr Interbond and either R-19 or IMR 4064?
These are the powders I have but I can't find any load data for the 110g bullet. I can find data for 100 gr or 120g but not 110.

The Nosler site has data for the 110gr Accubond using Magpro, Retumbo, and IMR4350. http://www.nosler.com/index.php?p=15&b=25cal&s=208I have no experience with R19, but I think 4064 might be a tad fast burning for optimal performance with the 110/25-06.

Finding the 4350 around here is not easy. Been on backorder for 5-6 mos they tell me
Someone has to have tried it.

yeah 4350 is hard to find in pa to how does this bullet hold up at high velocity want to try it in 257 wby

I cant help the original poster with RL19 and I4064, but I can respond to hunter8mm about the bullet's integrity. I shot the bullet into the bullet test tube at 100y and it retained 90.7g (82.5%), had an expanded diameter of 0.698 inches at an impact velocity of about 3000fps. 100y test in phone books showed recovered percentage of 65.5% with expanded diameter of 0.747. The 200 test showed 68.5%/0.507 and 300y test showed 75%/0.523.
In my opinion, the HIB is a very balanced bullet. It expands nicely and would make a big hole for whitetail hunting with the .25-06 or .257Roy.

I use 57 gr of RL 25 for under 1/2" groups at 100 yards with the 110 Accubond. Cap is Fed 215m and My velocity is 3265 fps. I dropped a goat at 350 yards this year facing me (botton of the neck shot) Buck DRT, never found the bullet.

so...., ky, how did your comparitive terminal ballistic tests come out for the 110AB, 120 Hornady HP, 120gr Speer Hot Core and 120gr Sierra HPBT???

I got my gun back rebarreled about 2 weeks ago, so should be able to complete testing when my 8m old daughter gives me a few weekends. Between her and hunting seasons, it sure seems like I have no time for research.

What I don't understand is my Speers 12th and 13th edition list a load for the IMR4064 with an 87 gr and 100gr bullet, then it goes to 117 gr with no reference to the IMR4064. I am trying to use this powder as my RE 19 is getting low.

Using the 100gn Data, drop back about 3 graines from the lowest starting loads and work up slowly. It is not hard, as long as you look at the relationship between the 87gn and 100gn loads and then look at the same plus a little more reduction for the heavier bullet.
Don't expect top velocity though, it will go bang, and take game, but IMR 4064 is too fast for that case dimension and more suited to a larger bore ratio with that case volume such as the .30/06.
Generally speaking, and from 6mm bore size up, the more restrictive the case mouth, the slower the powder needs to be if you want full velocity for the chambering. Onceyou hit about 50 grains powder capacity, the slower powders start to offer advantage.

Good response but 4064 can work well with 130's in the 270. That might be as small a bore case ratio that it is still practical. If I had some and no others I would try it.
4064 will work for 80-87 grainers in the 243 not super fast but fast enough and accurate. Like was said before will work but maybe not optimal.
