$250-500k, the turbine powered ones are a million.

That's a Norseman, not a Beaver. I don't think they put turbines on the Norseman, but I could be wrong.

correct, and I don't know of a turbine Norseman. It sure would be a helluva an aircraft; they dwarf the Beaver, which has been available with a turbine conversion for decades.
the sound of a round motor across water at takeoff power shakes the fillings and wakes the dead. A very pleasant sound..... cool

NOTHING else sounds like a radial engine.
There is no question what you are listening to when they fire up.

Brings back great memories and starts new plans....

We may know the time Ben Carson lied, but does anyone know the time Hillary Clinton told the truth?

I doubt she's a natural blonde. Of course, if the fender on that car were a few inches taller we'd be able to tell from the picture.

There is nothing as loud as an overloaded radial Otter trying to get off the water...

I've been in two in-flight engine failures in two different radial Otters. Both had a safe outcome and I still fly in them. No way it can happen 3 times...right?
