to the Hallettsville Airport , found the following in a

culvert they were using...

The gator is/was 18' 2" long.

The rattlesnake roundup totalled 87.

We thank Texas Power & Light for sharing these pictures."

I'd sooner face the 'gator than those damndable slithering buzz snakes.

I"m not far from Halletsville, I doubt the gator was there... and they generally don't have that many snakes, but then again you find a winter den and you find LOTS of snakes. No big deal though, I'll take the snakes over the gator, gator will get my lab and I'm tempted to kill every one of the dang things I see, I can't stand them and that would get me in trouble.

I'd rather not - either one.
