I'm casting the 429421 HP,the bullets are coming out good, but the cavity is coming out bad. The opening appears to be off-center? I called the guy I got the mould from and he said keep the pin hot? What am I missing here?

If he's telling you to keep the pin hot, the only advisable fix is dipping it until metal does not stick to it (10 seconds or so).
Casting until the mold "gets up to temp" is just wasting time and bullets. If using an electric pot I don't think damage to any mold is possible: I dip my moulds with nary an issue.

Yep, make sure the HP pin is clean, smooth and HOT!
smoking the HP pin may help too.
also try casting at a HOTTER temperature and doing some pressure pour to get the nose to fill out. Sometimes a bit of tin in the melt, helps fill out (just a bit not much)
Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

No offense, but alignment and Lyman often don't correlate, too. They advertise that fact in their own writing.
Beating bullets from a mould at different temps is the first clue.

The bullets are falling out fine,no beating required and well filled.I'm checking into another pin.Bright and shiny from Lyman #2 and they are weighing in at 222-224 grains...

I will assume it is a single cavity with a HP?
if so try this.
Cast boolit, twist pin and remove, then crack the sprue, then drop boolit.
This may help some.
