Didn't anyone tell you it is unethical to hunt with a muzzle brake on your rifle? I'd be ashamed.

Congrats on the steaks and roast.

Excellent bullet placement. I'd venture a guess it was no accident...

Here is another. This deer was shot at 800 yards, measured with a Swarovski rangefinder. Shot with a Weatherby 30-378 loaded with a 200 grain Accubond bullet at 3240 FPS. The scope is a Schmidt and Bender 4-16X50 Scope with Varmint dotted reticle.

One shot ...dead deer.

The break is there. You don't want that much gun without it. Furthermore you don't want that much gun anyhow. I sold it and bought my 300 Weatherby back from the guy I sold it to and went elk hunting this year. Same Schmidt scope, 180 grain Nosler BT at about 3200 FPS. Elk at 450 yards ranged with Leica 1200.

It has a brake on it as well. It is a Sako Deluxe 300 Weatherby. This rifle really shoots well.
