Gentlemen,
I have a Marlin 39 "Golden Mountie" that evidently tried the high dive off of the rifle rack and onto the concrete in reloading room. My question. Who works on these rifles? I ask because it's the 20" heavy barrel version with a straight grip stock. It would appear that the mag tube, mag tube hanger, and crown were damaged in the fall. Is there a riflesmith out there who works on these little rifles?

I would like to have a glove loop lever made, the action polished, and possibly reblued... REALLY fond of the little rifle and looking to have this done properly.

Best Regards, Matt Garrett

I would contact Marlin and get an idea of costs from them. Their website is www.marlinfirearms.com and you can reach them there or find other ways to contsct them.
Good luck!
